Carl observed that erosion due to Wetlands was going to be a problem in the Northeast corner of the 10 acre property. To remedy this soil erosion Carl took action by participaing in the Food Act of 1981.
The Food Act of 1981, was NRCS of Alabama came out and attempted to plant pine trees on the East 2 acres of the property. This was unsuccessful due to the wetness of the land. The trees were then planted throughout the farm and along the adjoining field.
