Hazel G Farmer married Carl O Stephens settled on Route One Fyffe in 1945 and it is now addressed as County Road 61, Fyffe Alabama.
Carl and Hazel Inherited most of the surrounding land that was owned by Wesley and Lillie Bell Farmer.
Many generations of brothers, sisters and cousins lived and farmed the surrounding land of County Road 61 and County Road 327 of joining fields.
Effie Farmer lived just across the field on County Road 327, this was where Lillie often quilted with Effie. Carol and Bob Farmer had several children and also lived within the Township.
